Kilburn is a great North London neighborhood to live in. It is a very well-connected area with lots of possibilities for exploring locally including some of the most wonderful parts of North London to discover! Whilst Kilburn high street has a long history of being a hub in North London, the area is still reliable today for shopping locally for amenities and groceries at the many stores, that line either side of the high street.
If you’re looking for a change from walking around the local stores in Kilburn, why not hop over to Camden and its iconic marketplace and lively bars, to stroll around instead? If the artsy streets and buildings are not your thing, perhaps you would prefer a walk around nearby Regent’s Park or, even a trip to the zoo! Primrose Hill and the views it offers of the London skyline are amongst the best you can find anyway and are easily reachable for summer evenings watching the sunset in the park!
Take the opportunity to spend an afternoon wandering through the beautiful neighborhood of St. John’s Wood. There are many fantastic cafes and boutique stores along the high street to visit as well as several high-end restaurants and bars. The transport links within the Kilburn area are fantastic for accessing other parts of North London. Central London and all the delights of the city center are easily accessible from Kilburn on the London Underground.

The Overground station at Kilburn High Road is very useful for accessing other areas in North and East London, whilst trains on the London Underground from Kilburn Park are quick and easy to get to the city center, including accessing Paddington Station.
Paddington Train Station is a fantastic connection point for services across London as well as in and out of the city. You will find multiple other London Underground lines, as well as fast rail connections to Heathrow Airport on the Heathrow Express
There are good bus services from Kilburn High Street across London if you are ever unable to take the train services for any reason.
