Originally used as the school director’s home for over 100 years. We’ve preserved details to ensure this home remains special. 1 bedroom on main floor (Please note: this room has a curtain instead of a door), 5 bedrooms upstairs. Free parking on property. 2 toilets, 2 showers (with bathtub). Important! Please read photo captions, some rooms have been changed

Situated directly across from the town church where you can hear the bells chime as if in a fairytale. Originally used as the school director’s home for over 100 years. We’ve preserved details that make this home special. This home is attached to an elementary school. After school hours and during weekends there are no neighbours on the righthand side making the home very private and peaceful. Safe, friendly area, close to two good shopping malls.

Fully equipped kitchen (excluding oven), a four-piece towel set is provided for each guest as well as toilet paper, soap, shampoo, blankets, pillows and linens. Bedding is provided clean and beds made upon arrival! Saving you time and energy.

RULES and FINES:
PLEASE READ: Fines may be charged.

– This is NOT a party house!!
-Please let me know honestly how many guests will be staying. I do not tolerate dishonesty in booking. You are paying per bed so please do not use more beds than the number of guests you have booked for or you will be charged for this.
– ABSOLUTELY NO smoking inside the home. A €250 fee will be charge if lingering smoke can be smelled after your stay!!
– Please no shoes in home.
– NO pets or parties allowed. A €200 charge will be made if any complaints are made or animal HAIR is found.
– Missing Keys. €50 charge for missing keys. If you mail the key back immediately this charge will not apply.
– A complete four-piece set of towel is provided free of charge for every guest. Unfortunately I’ve had many towels taken in the past and need to charge for these. If any towels are damaged or go missing a fee of €25 will be charged to replace the entire set. PLEASE be careful not to lose, misplace or damage them. I don’t mind if you take them to the beach or with you on your holiday but please ensure they are returned.
-Any and all damages will be charged.

Please be RESPECTFUL and treat my home as if it were your own home. You are a guest in my home, this is not a hotel or a hostel.

Everything in the home is available for guests to use. There is a large backyard attached to the house which is NOT part of the listing. You are welcome to use it (smoking, sitting in the sun, fresh air) but PLEASE do not judge or review this property based on the yard, as it is extremely overgrown and not something I advertise as an asset to the listing. If you don’t mind the mess and weeds, then I don’t mind you taking advantage of the space and fresh air. Also, the yard is directly attached to the school next door, but it belongs to this house and is private property.

Self Check-in ONLY. No in-person interaction as I live an hour away but always available to answer questions. Immediate assistance will be given in the case of a problem/emergency.

Beautiful area with traditional Dutch homes and lots of accessibility to busses, shopping centres, bike paths and close by Vinkeveen. Vinkeveen is a beautiful area known for its lakes and sand islands. It is famous for various recreational opportunities such as diving, swimming and yachting.

Buses pass all day, making you feel far from isolated. The nearest bus stop is just 200metres away.

GOOD TO KNOW
It’s important for me to be honest before your stay so you know exactly what to look forward to (the good and the bad) to ensure you have the best holiday possible.

This home is equipped with a 200litre boiler, so showers may need to be kept short when travelling with a bigger group.
Bedding is provided.
The stairs to the second floor (5 bedrooms) are traditional Dutch style meaning they are VERY steep.
Instrument lessons in the school on Tuesday afternoons may be disruptive if you plan to stay inside the entire day.
The yard is overgrown and under construction, use is allowed but not something I advertise!
